Paulo Coelho: The Witch of Portobello

Paulo Coelho has written this novel in the form of accounts taken from the different people who knew about Athena and some of the events which led to her being branded as the "The Witch of Portobello".
This book, like all his other novels that I have read, is about someone who tries to be true to be to herself and realize her fate. In this novel too, it is stressed that whatever the world thinks brings happiness is not necessarily true.
Paulo Coelho's books have always inspired me and have always been a sort of a reminder for me. In our lives, we lose ourselves; we become robots following a daily routine. We forget to appreciate ourselves, our loves ones, our lives as a whole. And Paulo Coelho, by his books, always reminds me to appreciate, and love, and be myself; who I really am and what I really want. And not only that, but to be consistent and strong and get what I want.
