Before this movie's release, many people were questioning whether Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) was reaching the decline of his career. "My name is Khan" was being called the movie which would be the deciding factor. With the release of this movie, SRK has shown that he is not yet ready to leave.
This movie revolves around Rizvan Khan (SRK), an Indian Muslim who moved to America before 9/11 took place. This movie shows his journey all over America, trying to meet the President of the United States to give him this message: "My name is Khan and I'm NOT a terrosrist". In parallel, we see Rizvan Khan's own story. from his childhood till the present, and his reason behind taking this seemingly absurd journey.
SRK and Kajol have always been a lovely couple in my opinion and they were so in this movie too. SRK's acting is obviously very good and so is Kajol's (who plays the role of a Hindu hair stylist, Mandira). Though I would have liked to see more of Jimmy Shergill and Sonya Jehan, altogether the film was brilliantly brought together with its hilariously funny and hearbreakingly sad moments.
Hats off to Karan Johar for yet another hit!
